Before you write to Nadira

Short answers to what most people ask on the first call. Every family is different, so the call is where the real answers come.

Why a flat fee?

So you never hesitate to ask a question. The fee covers the call, the meeting, the draft, one round of changes and the signing.

What if I want more changes after the first round?

Small fixes are free. If you rethink the plan, say after a new grandchild, a second round is quoted flat before I start.

Do you handle probate after someone dies?

I handle informal probate for estates with a will I drafted. For contested estates, I refer to colleagues who do that work.

Can you help my parent if they live in another state?

Only if they live in the state where I'm admitted. If they don't, I can help you find a lawyer where they live, and you can still use my questionnaire to get organized.

Will you keep my original will?

No, you take it home. I'll tell you where to keep it and give your executor a copy that says where it is.

How often should a plan be updated?

Look at it every five years, and after a marriage, divorce, death, birth or move.

Is my information kept private?

Yes. What you tell me is confidential once you're a client. Until then, please keep messages through the site general.
