I write wills and trusts that a family can read, and I'm the only lawyer you'll work with from the first call to the signing.
Before opening this practice I worked at a larger firm, drafting plans for other lawyers' clients. I rarely met the families. When I started on my own, I decided every client would see their draft, with my notes in the margin, before anything was signed.
I grew up in Portland and speak Arabic at home, and a good share of my clients are families who came here from somewhere else and want the paperwork done properly in English. Others are couples in Falmouth or South Portland whose kids have moved away, and adult children handling a parent's papers for the first time.
I take a limited number of plans each month so each one gets read twice.

The office is on the second floor above Market Street, a short walk from the Old Port garages. If stairs or driving are hard, I come to you anywhere within 20 miles of Portland, and first calls can be on video.
